I have just received from the Secretary of the Treasury a letter to him of the [undecipherable] from the Secretary of War containing a requisition for certain articles, a part of which Mr. Francis has been desired to procure, and to deliver [undecipherable]. The remainder will be found on the inclosed list, and from their nature it appears most adviseable that they should be prepared or procured by you. If no arrangement for Money is in your power the amount will be paid to you on producing a note with the bills to Mr. Francis.
