Sir,
The Secretary of War has received your letter of yesterday; and directs me to inform you, that the military Stores ordered to be furnished for the fortifications on the Sea Coast, agreeably to the return of the 25th ultimo, were intended as an immediate supply for the cannon already at the respective stations, designated in the column "Grand Total", excepting otherwise expressed in the column of "Remarks" ——
