The Commissioner of the Revenue informs Secretary Hamilton that he has applied to William Wyatt, postmaster at Fredericksburg, to procure a contract for supplies to be made at that place for a recruiting party of the artillerists. Requests that an adequate remittance of money be made for that purpose.
