Sir The Secretary of War requests that you will please to have packed up for a long transportation, which is to Knoxville addressed to Governor Blount. Ten barrels of the finest [underline: Rifle] powder and a proportionable quantity of [underline: Rifle flints], and that, you will please to have them transported from hence to Manchester in Virginia to the care of Andrew Nicholson &C^o: Merchants, together with all the Indian goods furnished the Chickasaws Indians now in this City, and which will be delivered to you by M^r Tench Francis. and that you will please to write to Nicholson &C^o. and request them, on receiving these goods &c, to have them forwarded with all possible dispatch, and safety, to Governor Blount, at Knoxville, and that the expences of transportation be settled by you, and charged in the usual mode.
