Agreeably to the arrangement for remitting from time to time Money from this Department — I have caused to be remitted to Aaron Dunham Esqr Supervisor Esqr at Trenton the Sum of Forty Dollars being for the pay due to Capt Zebn Pike for the month of Decem. 1793 to be transmitted to Mr Pike for which She is to receipt accordingly and therefor I return you her receipt for that Sum it not being taken agreeably to the manner in which the payments is made her — I have proposed to Mr Dunham to remit you the Sum and that you Should pay it and forward to him Mrs Pikes receipt —
