Document 1794The Commissioner of the Revenue requests that he be informed of what measures have been taken for the supply of the recruits and troops at places other than those which are included in the general contract for the Army and the western posts. States that it would be useful to have a statement detailing times, places, and quantities, of rations, clothing, quarter masters, and hospital stores, for the past and current year.
