Major Samuel Hodgdon
Philadelphia
---
Lamberton 14th July 1794.
Sir,
I am favored with yours of the 11th Current, inclosing the Acco.t and Vouchers which where lately forwarded by me to you — On examination I discover your remarks are perfectly right — With respect to the Lead no inconvenience can arise, as the Cap.t did not make in his freight of a few pounds any object; in the entry of this article instead of 2 q.rs ought to have been 2 Cwts — With respect to Cap.t Hows Acco.t I can only say that articles charged were delivered to him, and that two mistakes have taken place, viz — one taking the Receipt, and, the other in the charge in the account furnished.
I am Sir,
Your most humble Serv.t
Peter Hunt
Major Samuel Hodgdon.
