Mr Coxe presents his compliments to the Secretary of war. He understands from Capt Barry that a considerable quantity of Iron ballast, and Stores were delivered to some Agent of the war Department from on board of the ship Alliance. As they may perhaps be used so as to produce oeconomy, & may serve as models at the making of contracts, Mr Coxe requests that the Secretary will do him the honor to order a Note of their kinds, quantities & present situations to be transmitted to his Office.
