July 1st 1794 From En.s James Richmond Sub-Legion NewBrunswick 1.st July 1794 Major Joseph Howel Sir Inclosed I send you my Muster and Recruiting Account from the 31st May to this date with the Receipts for the Monies I have paid on Acct of Bounty, Copies of which I have kept & had them signed on and witnessd, as vouchers for myself when I come to Settlement I have endeavored to follow the instructions goven me in making [undecipheraböe] this account. if I have been quilty of any errors in it. please to point them out and they shall be remedied I am Sir Your Hble Servant Richmond [undecipherable] Ensign Obedt 34 [editor’s note: at bottom right corner]
