The Secretary of War requests, that you will, in behalf of the United States, receive from Captain Richd Dale, and safely keep, until further orders, [underline: Nine, six pounders], and [underline: One] four pounder, with their carriages, being that number of cannon and carriages taken, by authority, from on board the Armed Ship called the Vantuable, alias Bluchamogga, alias Sfane, illegally equipped for war by Mr John Cooper of Virginia.
