Knoxville July 1^st 1794 Sir I have Sent on my Accounts up to the last of June as Perfect as the Matters of the Troops will Admit, to my Agent to be by him Presented to You or such Other Officer whose duty it may be to Examine and Pastthem. It is unnecessary for me to remark to You what I now have no Money Advanced On the Contract — the Necessity I am Under for having the cash due me Speedily as Possible payed into the hands of Your M^r Samuel Jackson. If the Muster Rolls on which such Accounts have heretofore been compared are not forwarded to You it is not in my power to help it, as this does not pass thro my hands.
