Document 1794R. Bissell received payroll and money, sum was remit to John Chester, Supervisor for CT. All recruits paid, deserters excepted. Bissell enclosed receipt roll in letter that also contained letter to Capt. E. Miller which he requested to be forwarded. Bissell retained money due to deserter W. Wetton and requested the sum be deducted from Bissell pay.
