Dear Sir,
Your favour of the 21st Instant I have received.
The cask with the spetie arrived in the evening of the 20th Inst apparently in good order, I Shall send it forward as soon as I can obtain an escort. I have informed the Dy Mr Genl of its arrival.
I Shall send the hired Horse together with some others to Fort Washington in a few days.
The four pd Shott shall be forwarded without delay addressed as you have directed.
