The Secretary of War has concluded to send the bearer, Frederick Ernest Guyer (who inlisted some time ago with Captain Kersey) into the Cherokee Nation with Mr. Dinsmore, in the capacity of an Armourer; he requests that you will furnish him with a complete set of Armourers Tools, including bellows and anvil – if you cannot furnish the whole, the Secretary says Mr. Tench Francis is to make up the deficiency.
