Sir
Your letter of the 21 Instant I have reed together with others for Beau Ministre which I shall forward this day by a Boat for Fort Washington
I have enclosed an Invoice of Stores sent forward on the 22d Instante addressed to the acting DrQM at Fort Washington also an Invoice of Quarter Master & Ordnance Stores now on board a boat intended for Fort Franklin. Capt Crawford was agreeable to your orders to have proceeded with a Detachment to reinforce the Garrison of that Post But on account of his age and Bodily Infirmities Majr Butler has thought proper to Order Capt Henoch with his detachment to that Post he is Accordingly to set off to morrow morning with his detachment and is to escort the Stores
Genl Wilkins of the Militia Returned last night from Fort Franklin he says that accounts had arrived at that Place of the Indian Council at Buffalo having dissolved and that Commissinaries was expected at Lebanon from that Council to announce the Result of their deliberations and it is Believed they disapprove of & will oppose any further Settlements in that country —
