Sir,
I have the honor to observe to you that all the estimates of materials wanted for the frigates, hitherto transmitted to this office are for those of 44 guns, and as there are some of the articles which require to be imported vizt copper, canvas, Anchors, & Bunting, it will be necessary to have the estimates of those articles, with such variations as will adapt them to frigates of 36 guns also.
