Immediately on your arrival at the Head Quarters of the army you will make out and certify your account of contingent expenses of marching your detachment which with the vouchers you will lodge with Caleb Swan paymaster of the troops and refund him the balance remaining in your hands, untill that is done it will prevent the settlement of your pay which will commence on the rolls from the 1st July the period to which you have drawn on me and from which draft I shall deduct the sum of 25 dollars 80 Cents being balance remaining in your hands of the sum you received from Mr. Mifflin for the pay of your detachment for April, having allowed all your payments and your advances to deserters excepting 1 dollar and 6 cents over paid to Dr. W. Lowrey—
