You have herewith inclosed, Two Receipts from Captain Pierce, the commandant at Fort Washington (Mr Swan not being there) for Seventy seven thousand and seventy four dollars & thirty three Cents, it being the money I had in Charge for the Legion of the United States and Mounted Voluntiers of Kentucky.
