[S^o 16] War department June 8. 1794 — Sir If Colonel Sargent should not descend immediately to Fort Washington, you must dispatch an express boat well armed for the purpose of carrying the letters with which he is charged to Fort Washington — But if he will take it immediately to that place you must furnish him with such a boat.
