Pittsburgh 6^th June 1794 Sir I have Received your Letter of the 31^st Ult: I am Sorry that M^r Temple has been so Careless of the House, I could not have taken more pains in Charging him to be careful of him, I am of Your Opinion that he ought to pay the Damages done the House, but Temple is Poor, and what is worse, lately Married to a young Lady Daughter of Capt George Fowlers, also Poor, so that it will be difficult to Obtain Restitution of him — I have delivered Coll.
