Sir
Capt. Ross, of the Sloop Dolphin delivered me your letter of the 16th inst. — He also delivered (in apparent good order) the Military stores, sent by him, agreeable to the Invoice & bill of lading. These Stores have been deposited partly at Fort Nelson & partly at the Powder Magazine in this Borough. Those at the fort, are in charge of William Groves, superintendant of the works (under Major Rivardi) and those at the pow[der] Magazine, are under the Care of the Keeper of said Magazine.
