Pittsburgh 30 May 1794 Sir Your Letter of the 9^th Instant by the hands of M^r m General Scott, I Received on the 26, a Keel Boat, was fitted out for the General on his Arrival, But by M^r Claims Detachment being here, and prepared to descend the Ohio, and it being Considerably loaded by the late Rain he preferred a Kentucky Boat Escorted by the Detachment accordingly Embarked and set off with the Troops, early on the Morning of the 28 — — Ensign M^r Clure taking in days three Boats, loaded with all the Stores of Importance, now on board, a Copy of the Invoice of Which Shall be Sent by a Person that Sets off for Philadelphia on Monday next.
