I have recd Your letter of the 17th instant The Stores you mention together with some others that are Just come to hand, Shall go forward under escort of Ensign McBlain who is this moment arrived.
I have enclosed herewith a Copy of an Invoice of Stores Sent forward on the 18th instant in charge of Capt Collins & Lieut Campbell Smith. I also sent in charge Lieut Smith four thousand Dollars Specie addressed to Caleb Swan Mr Heayden having advised me of the money coming from Philadelphia, I prevailed on Lieut Smith to wait for it.
