Your letter & the Clothing mentioned therein, arrived during my absence from the Place. I have this day forwarded them to Capt. Heath at Winchester, except four Tents & 12 Knapsacks, which I have taken out being wanted here, and he having a sufficiency of the latter. Do you require a Receipt from me for the Whole, or only for such part as I have taken out. If you think I ought to receipt for the Whole and take Capt Heaths for what he has had forwarded to him, it shall be so, as soon as I am advised. In the mean time I remain
