135 Pittsburgh 16th May 1794 Sir I have received your letter of the 10th Instant enclosing one for ensign Levi McClean, which shall be deliverd him on his arrival, I presume he will reach this Post next week.
Lieut Campbell Smith is still here, I have prevailed on him to wait a few days for a waggon that is expected this day, with the Silver money in order that he may take charge of it The Cases addressed to Mr. Swan shall be taken particular care of & forwarded by a Carefull Hand.

Sir, The Packets from H.Qr. sent you by last post, arrived by express from Wheeling at the moment - the mail was closing and by the boat that brought the Packets to Wheeling I have since recd from Mr. Swan a case addressed to you containing several large Packets too bulkey to be [sent] by post. But [illegible] by a waggon [illegible]
