Sir
You having received the sum of
224 dollars being in advance for pay of your
detachment for April and May, you will at the
expiration of this Month have your detachment
mustered and be qualified to the triplicate muster
and pay rolls you are to make for those months,
you will then proceed to pay the men taking their
receipts agreably to the pay roll to be witnessed by
one Commissioned or two non commissioned officers,
when a signature is not written, and you will im-
mediately afterwards transmit to me by post en-
closed cause to the Secretary of War one sett of Muster
and pay rolls, and one sett of receipts of the Sol-
diers for their pay. — After the 1st of June, your de-
tachment will be paid by Constant Freeman Esqr
agent for the War department in Georgia.
