General Hall who will hand you this will also present you with the sum of Thirteen hun dred and nineteen dollars and 10 Cents being for pay and forage of the Troops at Fort Pitt, Franklin &c for the Months of April and May and for sub sistence of the Officers from the 1st Jany to the 25th of June of this Year, for which you will give the Gen eral the necessary receipts. Mr Swain in his letter of the 25th April last informs me that by Next convey ance he had transmitted the accounts of the Sub Le gionary paymasters, these accounts have not come in to me, and as I feel anxious for their safety I wish information from you whether they were left at Fort Pitt or not.
