Boston April 30^th 1794 Sir Enclosed is Cap^t Lyman's order with the receipts accompanying the same for Three hundred forty eight dollars & twenty one Cents paid him the 25^th march last — Also his order with a receipt for Three hundred Dollars paid him the 18^th Instant — which Sums were remitted by the Treasurer of the United States, to me for that purpose — I have to request Sir, that the proper order be taken for discharging me therefrom — I am very respectfully Sir Your most Hum^l Serv^t Nath Gorham Joseph Howell Esq^r.
