No. [undecipherable] R.P.O.401810] Pittsburgh 18^th April 1794 Dear Sir As the Quarter Master General has not yet arrived, I have been under a necessity of drawing on You for several Sums on acct of the Quarter Master Department to wit on the 16^th Inst. in favour of M^r John Harris at Eight days sight for two hundred Dollars, and on the 17^th in favour of William McKinley two drafts Payable ten days after sight — viz: one for 614 dollars & the other for 600 Dollars, & I have this day drawn on You in favour of Alexander Scott for 1760 Dollars Payable thirty days after sight. M^r Harris not having an Opportunity of Settling his account with M^r Bellie Previous to his departure from Fort Washington has requested me to take up his amount here which has Occasioned the draft in his favour. The draft in favour of William McKinley are in discharge of an Account for a large Quantity of Forage delivered agreeable to contract at Fort Washington & the draft in favour of Alex^r. Scott is in Payment of Twelve Tons of Bar Iron delivered at this post Agreeable to Contract. As Col^o. O'Hara has not wrote by last I presume he is on his way home & therefore have not wrote to him. Should he still be in Phila. Please to tell him that all the Iron Half the number of Bags ordered & nearly all the Pack Horse men will be sent forward in a few days Capt.
