Pittsburgh 25^th April 1794 Dear Sir Yesterday John Brotherton Waggoner arrived & has delivered my Trunks & together with Gen^t. Waynes & Captain William Lewis's Stores, one tent, [undecipherable] of Sheet Iron all in good order. I am greatly Obliged by your early attention to those addressed to me. The carriage of which I have not paid, & have therefore to request that Brotherton may be paid in Your Office & the amount charged to my Account, if charging it otherwise is inadmissible. Wire for the camp Kettles is much wanted, steel is also much wanted for axes, the smiths have the last bar of German Steel in hands. In the requisition for Stationary I neglected to insert a set of books for my Office, But mentioned them to M^r Young on my leaving town, I hope he has informed You of it, if not Please to send forward a sett as soon as convenient, The Quarter Master General is not Arrived.
