I Recd yours of the 1st of March with your Circular inclosed and form of Recruiting account and yours of the 8th March with the Statement of my Accounts to the 31st of Decr 1790 it appears there a Ballance is due the United States of one hundred and Seven Dollars and 80 Cts I have not had any publick money Since that time and have inlisted Eleven Recruits and paid them their Bounties which I Suppose will about Ballance the account
I have this instant Recd yours of the 9th Instant with pay Roll Inclosd The Troops at this post was ordered on to West point & thair I have Marchd them Excepting a Recruiting party which I Shall muster this 30th of April I have not Calld for the money and Shall not untill I here a line from you if you wish to have the pay Roll which you sent me orderd to you you will pleas to inform me and I will inclose them I have not mentiond the matter to the Secretary of War Relative the Store Keeping as I think it likely I Shall be in Philadelphia in corse of the Summer
