Dear Sir, Annapolis April 29th 1794
I presume by this time the Paymasters Accounts have arrived to your Office, if so, will thank You to examine into my Brother William Pitt Gassaways Account, he was an Officer out with Genl Wayne, and see how his Account Stands. In my Letter to Genl Knox on the subject, as refered it to your investigation, wherein Nay State that my Brother Stood Charged with 250 Dollars advanced for Recruiting I do know that my Brother did expend the whole of that Sum for Recruits in this Town and in Baltimore, which his Accounts must Shew. I will thank you to inform Mr Harris, the Gentleman who will deliver you this, if the Accounts have arrived how they Stand.
