Pittsburgh 1^st April 1794 Sir I arrived at this place on the 24^th of last month & find that the contractors agent has made a Contract with a M^r Elliot of this place, who is one of the agents of Brig^r Simcoe &c to the southward of France to Pittsb^g & to the 27^th Station, on condition to the whole the agents are now delivering a considerable Quantity, which will be dispatched from hence to Fort Washington, as soon as can be conveniently done.
