Treasury Department Revenues Office April 24^th 94 Sir The Secretary of the Treasury having conferm the con- ferences, I had the honor to hold with you, informed me, that he has communicated to you the arrangement for recovering the military posts, of Indian supplies of Prizes thro' this Office. I beg to request that you will favor me with a descriptive note of all Agent, the extent of which, had become relative, together with the times & places at which they must be Supplied. Where such descriptive notes from considerations relative to future appropriations, it will be material & indeed to me to the Secretary of the Treasury, from whom they can be regu- larly transfered to this Office. The result of the steps commenced will contain from matters possi- ble to assure your satisfaction & it will be useful to know as early as may be communicated Upon all future occasions when the public Service may require supplies contracts &^c you will be pleased to direct the only for return and transmission of similar discriptive notes of the objects to be procured as the matters to be done through the means of this office.
