I acknowledge the Receipt of your Several Letters of the 22d of Jany and the 12th of Feby Covering a pay Roll for my Self and the Recruits under my command for Octr & Novr — And herewith inclose receipts for the Same excepting a receipt for Saml Pelham who Desirtes before the Amot arrivd, of coun his Dollar is found to the Musket Balls and last ammod as at West Point — I also inclose herewith for Octr pay and for Ration Accom done by my Recruits payable to the pay Collr in your Office —
Also Muster Rolls for Feby — I Shall be in New York by the 8th Inst and if you forward the Money for Jany & Febys pay while I am there it will prevent me the trouble of Sending for it —
Would thank you to inclose me Some blank Muster Rolls by the first Post —
