I have have not considered your letter because I conceived that you would have seen that by law the mode of obtaining patents has has been altered from the mode which existed at the time you were here. The enclosed are the particular circumstances contained in the [undecipherable] paper of 21st February 1793 Upon your making application according to the law you will obtain your patent.
