Agreeable to Instructions given me by the Quarter Master General, I have this day Transmitted to the Comptroller of the Treasury Vouchers of Disbursements in Quarter Master Dept. at Post of Pittsburg and its dependencis commencing 1st October 1793 accompanied by an abstract of the several accounts in numerical order from No. 790 to 986 inclusive the aggregate amount of which is 16,201 Dollars and 67 cents A general Return of Stores for the last Quarter of the year 1793, is also transmitted to the Comptroller and herewith I have enclosed a Transcript of the Abstract by which you will see the amount of Expenditures at the Post of Wheeling, the building of which is not yet finished, but the works in Genl are in a Good state of defence, and the Garrison very comfortably Quartered.
Mr. Zachaus Biggs an agent in the Revenue Department for the State of Virginia is Purchasing Whiskey and Depositing it in the Store House at that Place, as soon as a boat load is delivered it shall be sent forward to Fort Washington
