The Treasurer of the United States is directed to remit to John Chester Esqr Supervisor of the revenue district of Connecticut to be paid to you the sum of one hundred and nineteen dollars and 86 Cents being for your subsistence from 1st June 1792 to 31st December 1793 rating at 10 Cents in 92 and at 10 ½ in 1793 and also the further sum of one hundred and fifty six dollars 30 Ct to May 8 yourself and recruit from 1st October to 31st December 1793 which you will discharge agreeably to the enclosed, Pray call and take receipts accordingly.—
I have received your accounts for bounty paid, you will forward also the enlistments and if you have enlisted any more recruits you will transmit the receipts and enlistments to the 31st December 1793. in order that I
