On the 12th of Sept last. I took the Liberty to address you enclosing a Letter for Majr Stagg; but not hearing from him Since, I apprehend he has mislaid the Letter & the business on which I Wrote Slipped him memory, which induces me a gain to take the Liberty of enclosing to your hereicy care another Letter addressed to him, on the Subject of negotiating some business for me at the Treasury —
