The Secretary of War requests that you will please to have packed up forty suits of infantry clothing complete, including two forgeants and two musics suits, and mark the package "Capt. Michael S. Nandin — Albany"
Please also to have packed up, for Captain Bezelet Howe's recruits at West Point, the articles of clothing as contained in his letter which he informs us, he transmitted to you on the 14th instant.
