I have furnish the Officers commanding at the several Posts with Blank Muster pay Rolls & have instructed them agreable to your directions but as various alterations & Transfers have taken place with which Capt. Crawford is but Acquainted, I apprehend that accurate rolls cannot be made untill he returns. I have paid the men present a months pay. I Shall not neglect to Complete the business as soon as the Rolls are made out.
