West point, Dec^r 19, 1793. Sir, Your favors to the 15^th of all others I have received — I suppose you have received from Col^l Brock my receipts for seventeen hundred dollars. The 120 dollars & the 8^y dollars & 32 cents you mention in your last letter your having sent to Col^l Brock for me I have not yet received, I have sent for them — Inclosed you will receive my account current; my account of disbursements with its vouchers, my account for inlisting men with their receipts & inlistments, pay roll for the extra service of the advance men shipping stores to Albany with their receipt for the money, as I found it expedient to them also to expedite the business, and Col^t Putnam Wrights account for himself & workmen to the 1^st of this month — Altho' by my account current it appears there remains with me 431 dollars & 97½ cents, yet I have not any of them in my hands — I have had to advance to Cap^t Wright & his workmen about or upwards of 300 dollars of them, & the rest, my great hurry of business when I paid them out, prevented my making out accounts & writing duplicate receipts for them.
