[87] Petersburg December 6^th 1799 Sir, Your letter of the 25 Ultimo together with blank muster and pay rolls &c came to pay of the troops at the office here in the B.H.O. I have received by the hand of [undecipherable] always before. I have signed duplicate receipts for 3 bat[undecipherable] letters. Your instructions respecting making & Paying the Troops shall be punctually attended to.
