This days Post has brought Your letter of the 26 & 29th Ultimo together with an Invoice of Major Copes Baggage and A Letter Addressed to Daniel B·ritt which I have this day Sent forward to Head Quarters—
I Shall attend to your instructions respecting Major Copes Baggage, but I Expect You have seen himself by this time— I am greatly Obliged by your Sending the Wine by A carefull Waggon— The files mentioned formerly have not yet Arrived— A further Supply of Nail Rod is immediately wanted—
Be Pleased to Send an Account of the Monies you have Remitted me on Acct of the Present D.M. Genl as I Wish to have my Acct Compared & adjusted before the End of the Year
