Dear Sir Your letter of the 25^th Ultimo enclosing a Packet for the Quarter Master General said to Contain Ten thousand dollars I have received of Col^o Mentges, and Yesterday sent the packet in charge of Captain Baugties to Head Quarters. — This days post has brought your letter of the 26^th and 29^th Ultimo; Together with an Invoice of Maj^r Craig's Baggage, &c a letter addressed to Daniel Brett, Which I have this day sent forward to Head Quarters. I Shall attend to your instructions respecting Maj^r Craig's Baggage, But I expect you have seen himself by this time; — I am greatly obliged by you sending the Wine by a careful waggoner, The fets mentioned formerly have not yet arrived; — a further supply of nail rod is immediately wanted Be pleased to send on account of the monies you have remitted me on account of the Present Quarter Master General, as I wish to have my accounts compared & adjusted before the end of the year.
