Sir,
I have Received your favor of the 22d Instant he dispatches for Major General Wayne, shall be put forward Immediately on their arrival, a Boat being provided for that purpose, in consequence of your former orders Boats are Ready to Carry the Troops, that are on their March from Carlisle. I hope the Officer Commanding will make proper Exertions to Arrive early in December.
I Shall pay due Attention to your Instructions, Respecting Carrying the Troops on the Upper Routs. I Suppose Mr. Howell will find Blank Pay Rolls.
We have no late accounts from the Army, but are hourly Expecting One of McAllyers Packet Boats from Fort Washington and Should any Dispatches Arrive from the Army, or Copies of Rolls Immediately fit of to the War Office.
