Agreeable to the Information conveyed to you in my last I have forwarded by Col [undecipherable] ten thousand Dollars in final notes answering to the enclosed [undecipherable] I hope they will go safely & Speedily to hand, by next post I will be able to render you fully relative to the remaining part of your requisition the whole of which I have no doubt will shortly be full into my hands. By the arrival of Col. [undecipherable] I have [undecipherable] a letter from Samuel Hodgdon Esqr inclosing one addressed to you said to contain 10000 Dollars which I have now but forward in charge of Captain Crawford, who has also charge of a large sum of money addressed to Col. Jones, in the Army
I have herewith inclosed an abstract of Forage purchased since June 1st 1792. Mr Sutherlands & Mr Parks purchases are included in this abstract, Forage furnished by Spencer Lane has not yet been accounted for, as he has not yet produced his vouchers for delivery. he acknowledges to have received of you 800 Dollars, but says there is still a balance in his favor — Mr Sutherlands account is paid as stated in the enclosed Copy, but he says he has a Claim of compensation for his losses, which I did not think myself at liberty to agree to Mr Lane's Account will I expect be immediately settled as his vouchers are now in the hands of Major Henley who is arrived from Wheeling, a Copy of his account together with a Statement of the [undecipherable] of Forage which Mr Park is now making out shall be sent by next post, which will be done off in a few days. on
