Sir,
Yesterday a Boat arrived from Fort Washington with several large Packets, those addressed to Secretary of War, I have forward by this Post; those addressed to Genm Willett Just Copl. I shall forward by next Post together with my Returns & Musetry Act — the whole being too bulky for one Allace.
I have herewith inclosed a Copy of a Letter from the Quarter Master General dated the 6th Ultimo, I have also Received a Ltr from Genm St Clair dated the 8thly, which it appears that the army were forward on the 7th Instant in Excellent Order, and high Spirits, and had a Considerable Number of the dismounting Militia were under his Obligation to Attend —
Fort Liberty & a Pt Washington on the 30th Ult. a Boat from Whittle. Arrived Yesterday with his Detachment and Arrived with at Fort a here two men —
