KNOW ALL MEN by these Presents, That — Henry Knox for Value received have bargained, sold, assigned and transferred, and by these Presents do bargain, sell, assign and transfer unto John Keese & George Simpson both of [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] the whole or any part of Two — Shares, the Certificates of which are hereunto annexed unto [undecipherable] belonging in the Capital or Joint Stock of the President, Directors and Company of the Bank of the United States, and further do make, constitute and appoint the said John Keese and George Simpson [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] true and lawful Attorney irrevocable for [undecipherable] and in [undecipherable] name and behalf, but to the use of the said John Keese and George Simpson to fell, assign and transfer the said Stock unto any other Person or Persons, and for that purpose to make and execute all neceffary acts of assignment, and transfer, and furthermore one or more Persons under [undecipherable] to Substitute with like full Power, hereby ratifying and confirming all that [undecipherable] said Attorney or [undecipherable] Substitute or Substitutes shall do therein by Virtue hereof.
