Pittsburgh 11^th October 1795 Sir, I have just Received M^r Philip Anecdot's letter of the 27 Ultimo, Inclosing for us a Letter for the Commander in Chief & other Officers at Head Quarters, which I have this moment delivered to Lieut Col Black, who this day Sets off for Fort Washington — Col Blacks takes Lieut Reed's Detachment with him, together most of the Effective Men from This Post.
